Surgical care services include treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which can be treated with a relatively new outpatient procedure called Greenlight Laser PVP.  Because it also involves immediate prostate tissue removal, it is an effective treatment for BPH, with the advantage of a faster recovery time that doesn’t require an overnight hospital stay.

Additional urological procedures performed at West Valley Medical Center include prostate cryoablation, prostatectomy, nephrectomy, lithotripsy for kidney stone treatment and several other specialty procedures.
